A Suvit (Vyapar TaxOne) alternative for CA firms

Last updated 1 November 2026 · by Venu Gopal Reddy Muvva, founder

If you use Suvit (now Vyapar TaxOne) to get bank statements and invoices into Tally, CABookkeeper does that too and adds the rest of the practice: a statutory calendar for every client, the compliance desk with maker-checker review, notice-reply drafts and fee billing. It is free for your first 3 months, then you pay only for what you use at our cost, against ₹7,000 a year + GST for TaxOne's Unlimited plan (50% off ₹14,000; checked 3 Nov 2026).

Steps in CABookkeeper

  1. 1. Sign up free

Name, email and a password, or Google. No card.

  2. 2. Try with an example

On the first-steps page press Try with an example: a made-up trading firm with its Tally ledgers and one month's bank statement becomes checked vouchers in under a minute.

  3. 3. Import your clients

Bring your client list from Excel or CSV with PAN and GSTIN checks.

  4. 4. Run one month side by side

Import one client's statement in both tools and compare the vouchers before you switch.

Where TaxOne may suit you better

TaxOne has been around longer and claims support for 400+ bank formats; CABookkeeper has tested HDFC, ICICI and SBI layouts and reads others by column detection. If your clients bank with many small banks that export unusual layouts, try both on real statements.

When CABookkeeper is not the right tool

If you only need statement-to-Tally entry and nothing else, either tool works; pick on price and the banks you see. CABookkeeper doesn't support scanned statements or inventory vouchers yet.
